What this experience actually is
This is not about becoming someone else in photos.
It’s about seeing yourself without distortion without the noise, doubt, or self-criticism that usually shows up in front of a camera.
Some women come in wanting boudoir.
Some come in wanting fantasy.
Some come in not knowing yet.
All of that is welcome here.
A fully guided experience
Every session is directed in real time.
You do not need posing experience, confidence, or preparation.
You will be guided through every movement, expression, and moment.
You are not expected to perform.
You are led.
The studio experience
Sessions take place in a private home studio space intentionally designed for comfort, control, and ease.
Music is curated for flow and energy.
Sets are fully prepared before you arrive.
We begin slowly so you can settle into the space, starting with a robe before moving into your planned looks.
Everything is paced with intention.
After your session
This is not a wait-and-hope experience.
You return shortly after your session to view your images the same day.
We go through everything together.
You look first without pressure.
Then we narrow selections based on your collection.
You are supported through the entire decision process.
Turnaround
Final edited images are delivered within 48 hours.
No long waiting period.
No disappearing into a queue.
Your experience continues into your real life quickly.
Fantasy + creation work
Some sessions are boudoir.
Some are fantasy.
Some become both.
With access to handmade pieces, curated wardrobe options, and custom-designed accessories, sessions can be shaped around your vision—not just standard setups.
Wings, crowns, body pieces, and conceptual styling are part of the creative work available here.
Booking
Sessions are reserved with a $100 booking fee.
Collections range from $1,000–$5,000 depending on the experience and artwork you choose.

I'm Ash, photographer, creative director, and confidence coach behind Ash & Thistle.
For over a decade I've worked with women who believe they aren't photogenic, don't know how to pose, or feel uncomfortable in front of a camera.
My job isn't to photograph confident women.
My job is to guide women until confidence has room to show up.
You don't have to know what you're doing.
That's my job.
