Ever wonder what to wear to a photoshoot?
What would look good a one-piece or a two-piece?
Should it be flowy or tight?
Lacey or not?
What do you do for makeup?
How do you wear your hair?
Here at Ash & Thistle, I create such a beautiful unique safe environment to help ease all these stresses.
Answer to 1) I have a lingerie quiz to help guide you, a wardrobe guide with the best shops for all styles and budgets, how to measure yourself at home to avoid returns, and you have access to my phone number to get more in-depth help with options. You can choose to have a free wardrobe consultation within 30 days of booking your photoshoot too.
Answer to 2) Both look good but after going over the guide and testing outfits at the studio you will quickly figure out what makes you feel like a slayer. You cannot go wrong either way, there are always nude or gowns as well!
Answer to 3-4) Get some of both you may not like it now but I can promise you - you view yourself with kinder eyes after our time together and you will have my aftercare guide + 6 weeks of body image course to go at your own pace.
Answer to 5) If you have a unique look that you always wear then do that. Otherwise, you can go to a makeup artist you love, do your own, or let Ash & Thistle do it. During quarantine, I got my makeup and hair styling certification and included these services in most of our packages at no extra cost. It is a great icebreaker and helps you ease into your session. You can also go all natural with no makeup.
Answer to 6) ( Hair is probably the least important part unless you are doing a decades session like 50s or pinup)
Straight and down or curled and down are the best. We play with the hair so updo's take away from a slew of amazing shots incorporating hair. I also have wigs at the studio that are part of our Closet.
